Macbook Air iOS Sierra 10.12.3 startup applicat...

I am running Sierra 10.12.3. Every time I open my MacBook Air I get an application notification saying "No Internet   needs to connect to the internet in order to work. Please connect and try again." There is internet and there are no connectivity issues. Obviously the internet will not be running through the computer when it is sleeping orcompletely turned off. It seems there is something in settings that can alter this problem, but I can not find the spot.Screen Shot 2017-02-21 at 10.27.43 PM.png

You'll have to reinstall macOS - Apple Support

  1. Open System Preferences.
  2. Go to Users & Groups.
  3. Choose your nickname on the right.
  4. Choose Login items tab.
  5. Check startup programs that may be causing this popup.
  6. Press the “–” sign below.
  7. Then restart your Mac to make the changes.

Sadly, that did not work.

That did it. Thank you!

I am having the same problem. It's showing up in my activity monitor as "ProntoApp". I reinstalled my OS but it didn't help. Does anyone happen to have any other possible solutions? I ran Kaspersky also...

I found prontoapp in application support and deleted it. So far, so good!

Thanks for the tip with the pronto app! Removed it all - hopefully this will work

THX
