MacBook Pro SpaceAge intermittently hangs for 5...

I just bought a 15" SpaceAge MacBook Pro with i7 processor in late July 2017. I noticed within the first few weeks of usage, that it intermittently hanged for 5-10 seconds randomly and not reacting to input mouse click?  Forgot if this was also before the OSX Sierra 10.12.6 upgrade or not, but with OSX Sierra 10.12.6 the problem is there.  Its now about 2 months in, and i still see this intermittent hang issue, especially while using the browser, and want to raise a question to support before too late, to ensure that if there is a physical issue with my particular laptop that i need to swap out with a replacement or is it simply a bug fix, that i can wait for a new patch?
