do not know the Sim Card Password

My iPad is older, it was a family member hand me down and I do not know the Sim Password, therefore it locked me out of the internet.

Version 9.0

Model MD368LL/A

I would really appreciate someone's help.  I do not want to pay for Support.  I can't afford it.

If the SIM is pin-locked, you will have to contact the carrier to get it re-set. If you don't need cellular data right now, just remove the SIM.

We aren't using it for a phone just the iPad for business and I need the internet.  My internet carrier said I needed to contact Apple since it was an Apple iPad.  Were they wrong?  Did I get a bad Rep at my internet courier?

Here is link to Apple Support regarding the SIM pin.  It states that your carrier should be able to help you figure out the default SIM pin.

My boyfriend thought it would be a great idea to put he SIM card in without he tray and now it's really deep in the slot and I can't get it out. Can't you just activate the iPhone without a SIM?
