Access Time Capsule Had Drive?
I have an original 500 GB Time Capsule. I used it as my base station and backup disc (with Time Machine) for a number of years until the 500 GB drive was no longer sufficient. I bought a couple of 1 T external USB drives for backups, but continued to use the TC as my base station. Comcast recently upgraded all of their modem/routers to a dual-band, 802.11ac Gateway device which works just fine. I’ve had theTC disconnected for a couple of months and decided to try to sell it. I’m pretty sure that when I switched to external USB drives for backups, that I erased all files on the TC. I’m wondering if there is any simple way to access the hard drive in the TC to make sure I did in fact erase everything? Does the TC have be on my network, or can I just access it with USB or an ethernet cable?
