Why is my aunts contacts connected with my own ...

I have always notice that every time I go to my contacts I see contacts that I don’t even know of. I found out that they were the contacts in my aunt’s iPhone. Therefore somehow my own personal iCloud account and her’s must be connected. How? I do t know. I want to know if there’s a way to get rid of that issue. I know there’s a way to only see my own contacts in the contacts app and that’s how I have it set up, but sometimes it goes back to where I see both contacts, Hers and mine, at the same time - I hate that. An other issue is that on my Mac Pro the other day I tried to phase time one of my contacts but I came to find out that I couldn’t because none of my own contacts were showing up on the contacts list. I find this problem somewhat frustrating sometimes. I’d really like to see if there’s a solution to this problem. Anything?

Are you both using the same Apple ID?
