Is it possible to purchase/download a user guid...

I have just purchased my first iPad, an iPad Pro 10.5.  Unpacked it, looked for the User Guide!!!! I know there is something in iBooks but I can't download it and my 81 year old eyes can't cope with reading something on the screen and then having to look away to check the screen.

There is no printed version from Apple, though I’m sure there are guides in Amazon and physical stores. The advantage of the free iBooks user guide is that it gets updated and you can control text size and page contrast.

To download from iBooks Store, you need to log in using your Apple ID with a valid payment method (or be setup with None) even if the download is free. Whats happening whe n you try to download?

Many device and software manuals are digital, now.

Hardly any software or consumer electronics companies print manuals any longer.

If you need an actual printed book, then you will need to purchase online from places like Amazon or Barnes & Noble or visit your "local" bookstores in your area.

If you don't like to read on screen, there are videos online that can help.

Here's one such video to get you started with your new Apple iPad.

All new iPads are the same functionally.

The only difference with iPad Pros are the use of the optional Apple Pencil and/or smart keyboard cover.
