A new @me.com email address

I am married now and hate using my old married @me.com email address but love having the @me.com email address and the ease of using it on my Mac products, meaning when I click on mail that what it opens. Is there anyway to get a new @me.com email address?

As you are aware your @me.com email address is your Apple ID. There is a process to change the email address associated with an Apple ID EXCEPT for addresses ending in @me.com, @mac.com, or @icloud.com. Sorry.

You could start over by creating a new email address/Apple ID, but anything you purchased, via the App Store or iTunes, will not longer be accessible using the new ID. However, since an Apple ID cannot be truly deleted, you can have more than one and just use the old one when you do want to access those apps or songs/movies, etc.
