On my MacBook pro early 2013 model the upgrade ...

I attempted the upgrade to High Sierra OSX operating system and after 12 hours it was frozen at the Apple Logo screen with a progress bar below it at about 75% complete and it was beeping and restarted once but after another 2 hours it still hadn't progressed an further. I tried shutting it down and restarting it several times with no change.

Can  anyone help me with this problem?
