What computer should I get

I'd like to buy a new computer. I am a graphic designer and I use Photoshop and Illustrator often. I am also learning to create videos. I want to be able to use these programs with out my computer grinding forever. It makes me crazy cuz its so dang slow!! I want a fast computer!!!

I have a 15" mac book pro with 1 TB hard drive and the following specs

Most importantly, up your RAM! You should be able to get up to 16GB with the newer models, and depending on how many things you will have running at one time, you may want to go for 16GB. The newest MacBook Pro with a 2.8GHz processor is a good choice as it will be able to handle video/photo editing better than a lower end processor. If you really want to get the best results, I would go with a 15", 1TB, 2.8GHz MacBook Pro, which starts at $1999 but will end up being considerably more. That's best case scenario, but with price considerations, you may want to go for a lower end laptop, or consider a desktop, which could support even more.
