High Sierra has made my MacBook pro slow

After installing High Sierra all my applications especially FCPX have become slow. Applications don't boot up fast and even don't close fast.My Mavbook pro is late 2013 model. I had no issue earlier. I do know how to delete rendered files etc.

Is it possible to go back to previous version. I do have Time machine back up but I donot know how to ? In windows I could easily do through Restore function.

Yes, it is possible to revert. But before you do that please download and run EtreCheck, created by one of own helpers here in ASC. It is a diagnostic tool that's very useful to us in finding problems. Also it will give us further specs on your Mac. After it runs post the log file here. It will contain no personal information.
