apple pencil problem after os 11

After the OS 11 update, the lines lag and appear as dots or vanish when I write with Apple Pencil on my 9.7 inch IPad pro. This happens a lot especially in Apple's own Notes App. It seems like the palm rejection feature is no longer working well. Isn't the screen supposed to distinguish between the Pencil, finger point and palm? When I don't rest my palm on the screen, this problem is gone but then what is the point of having the expensive Pencil and IPad Pro? My friends who have the same IPad Pro as me do not seem to have this problem. Some people are complaining of this same problem here: Apple Pencil won’t write | Apple Developer Forums. Does someone have the answer?

Have you tried restarting your iPad? Maybe it could help!
