Mac OS X External disk rw problem

Hi guys,

I have 1TB Samsung portable disk. I have pictures and videos in it. But Some of them can not be opened. I searched on internet. There are similar problems but not same. I tried to fix my file and result was not good. Because some of the files seems to be in recycle bin but also in the original file (but not readable). When I dismount by portable disk, recycle bin becomes empty.

Anyway, I receive this message when I try to open it:

xyz.jpg can not be opened, because it is used by Mac OS X.

It might be NTFS file system but how can I access some of the files I don't know.

Run the DiskUtility>FirstAid>Samsung  (external HD)

if errors are returned or repaired—run it again until no errors reported

Hi Leroy,

I tried but no error detected. Actually my old files are OK but last 1 year's not. I can see pictures from preview but can not open them.
