logon screen background turn grey.

Anyone know why logon screen background turn grey rather than default mountain pic ?

Here is what happed.

I two days ago tried to use iMessage sending a 330MB video yet the status bar stops on half for too long, then I reboot the computer, also deleted the video file from computer. Two abnormal happens:

1. Every time empty the trash bin, it says some file being used, after I click continue button, it proceed to complete.

2. The login screen suppose to have a blurred wallpaper with password typing box, now it is just grey as below:

Could anyone help with this situation please ?
