Bluetooth headphones with iTunes on Win 10

I'm using iTunes on Windows 10 and I use Samsung Level U Bluetooth wireless headphones and I have a couple of problems with iTunes.

1.- If there is a track playing and my headphones connect with the computer, iTunes ignores them and keeps on playing through the speakers, I must pause it, connect and then start playing again. This is annoying but manageable.

2.- If I'm my headphones are connected and iTunes is playing properly but then they disconnect (because I went away, battery went flat, I turned them off, or whatever reason), iTunes ceases to work completely and must be restarted. It shows the progress bar as if it were playing but there is no sound and no amount of pausing, stopping and replaying will fix it.

I'm pretty sure the problem is iTunes because MusicBee works perfectly for my headphones, if they suddenly connect, MB keeps on playing through them, if they disconnect, music pauses but resumes without problem.
