how can I enable my iPad to send and receive texts from an android device?

If you have an iPhone you can pair it and then use the iPhones SMS text service to send and receive SMS texts. Otherwise, no, an iPad by itself is incapable of sending or receiveing SMS texts since those require a cellular telephone voice channel connection.

An iPad by itself is only capable of internet messaging services like Apple’s iMessage Service (which only works between Apple devices), since it is only capable of an internet data connection.

I have a cellular data plan on my iPad, but, since Sept 26, my iPhone andiPad are not in sync with texts from android.????  Idk what happened.
