Ticking noise
I've had my MacBook Air for a while now and now its making a weird ticking noise every couple of seconds. I restarted it and did a scan of my laptop but that didn't really help me. Any suggestions on what this is and how to stop it?
The fan is the first thing that comes to mind. An appointment at an Apple store genius bar is your best option to address this issue. The evaluation will be FREE.
Ciao.
I have this issue on my current (brand new) SSD MBA, and have had it on a previous SSD MBA. It's been going on for several years. I have never had it fixed but I suggest going to the Apple store and demanding a new one as it's clearly a manufacturing defect if you look at the amount of people who have had this exact issues for years online.
