Single home button tap not working anymore (air...

Hi,

i woke up this morning, took my ipad (air2, ios11) and noticed that tapping the home button once does not bring the home screen anymore, it just does nothing, double tapping brings the multi-tab screen as usual. tapping the button while locked does work.

Any idea what the problem is? I went to general-accessibility but i haven’t noticed anything unusual.
