Preparing an iMac for sale

I want to sell my 2011 21.5" iMac. I have erased the hard drive using the Disk Utility Recovery Mode, I just wondered if that is enough for all of my details, Apple ID and other personal information to be removed? Is there anything else that I should/need to do in order to sell the iMac on? I've tested turning on the iMac and it launches the set up process.

Hope all of the above makes sense. I basically want to make sure none of my personal details can be recovered after selling the computer as it won't be going to anyone I know personally.
