iMac as external display for Windows 7 laptop

I'm considering to buy the new Apple iMac 27"(2017) and want to be able use the iMac as an external screen for my Windows 7 work laptop. Can I connect my Lenovo T450 laptop via the Mini DisplayPort to a thurderbolt-3 (USB C) iMac port? What cable should I use for this?

Nope. The 2017 iMac doesn't support Target Display Mode, and besides it's Mac to Mac only Use your iMac as a display with Target Display Mode - Apple Support

Txs Mike; really a pity. I think many would love to use their iMac as an target display from Windows but I guess it is what it is.
