iOS 11.0.3 Guided Access on iPad auto screen di...

The screen just dimmed but not locked (within 30 seconds) during Guided Access session.  I have turned all the options in Display Accomodations off and I have set the screen lock time to 15 minutes.  If I end the session, back to home screen and start the session again it works fine.  The situation was not found before iOS 11.  Is this a new feature? How to extend the time before the screen dimmed?
