Why do I have some of my iCloud storage greyed ...

I currently own an iPhone 6s Plus and the problem I am having with iCloud is when ever I try to backup my IPhone it says “Not Enough Storage” and then I try to free up storage by removing my previous backup and disable things to get backed up and it says it’ll be around 2 gigabytes of iCloud storage so I try to backup again and what do I see again? “Not Enough Storage” so I check back too see if I have enough and most of my iCloud storage is greyed out... and it doesn’t tell me what is using it. Try briefly signing out of iCloud on the device and sign back in.

That didn’t work it just took up more space..

Then you may need to reach out to Apple Support as they may need to intervene on their side.

Reset – iPhone 7

Hard reset

That did not work, either.

How big is the backup size in Settings/Your Name/iCloud/Storage/Manage Storage?
