Why does my time capsule no longer let my ioT d...

If I turn on my iPhone personal HotSpot, the Particle Photon, can connect to the cloud. But it will no longer connect to my Time Capsule local network. Using WPA2 security.

Something has changed.. I do not know what and your level of information in the question is nil.

 

What TC do you own? Is it setup as main router or bridged?

What modem do you have?

Who is your ISP?

 

For devices to connect to the internet it needs to open ports.. if not using standard HTML.. what ports does your ioT device require?

Do you have double NAT?

 

From a computer ping the site your ioT device connects to.. is it reachable.. it could be ISP routing problem. Your phone is using a different provider and system.
