notification frequency

Hi, I love the notification feature in Yosemite, but, how do I change to control the frequency of banner notifications I have set up in Calendar?


I get banner pop up notifications for my screen for the same event like every 15 minutes after I hit snooze! It is really annoying.


Is there a way to change how often these notifications appear on my screen after I hit snooze? It would be really nice to only get them like twice a day or once a day, not every 15 minutes.

If you'd like to select a different delay than the default 15 minutes when hitting Snooze on a Calendar notification, you may find the following steps helpful:

 

 

Dismiss alerts

When an alert appears, you can either close it or temporarily dismiss it.

It should be made obvious. Add ...'s to it or something like "Snooze - or..." or "Snooze - for..."
