Screen color issue and freezing on Macbook Pro ...

I have been using the 2017 13" MacBook Pro (8gb ram, 256 gb ssd, tb) for a few months now, but have occasionally been experiencing a problem where the screen colors would start changing (almost flickering) and the system either freezes or gets extremely slow. Usually, just closing the lid and/or restarting would temporarily fix it, but now it seems to be happening constantly. I use both Mac OS and Windows 10 (bootcamp) and both OSs have the problem, although, at least with Windows 10, I am still able to use the notebook, but with distorted colors. I don't have the latest versions of each OS installed, and I am currently unable to do so.Is there anything I can do to help resolve this issue? The photo below of the Windows 10 desktop is an example of the color issue.
