I cannot purchase on iTunes

I cannot purchase a song or access any account information on iTunes.

I have one apple ID for the iTunes and App store.

I have another one for the iCloud.

Both have different passwords.

I wish they were all in the same, but they are not.

I just recently purchased the IPhone 8 plus.

When transferring all of my data from a previous I cloud data, I ran into some trouble as I had to remember to use the iCloud ID for the prior back up.

Just recently, I went into iTunes to purchase music and it prompts me for a password, but when I put the password in, nothing happens.  No error message...just nothing.  I can't buy, access my account information, send a gift..nothing.

Please advise on how I can get a response.
