How to delete mail messages from inbox in mail app

How can I delete messages from the inbox using Mail app (on IPad Pro)?

It looks like I can only archive them.

And I can only delete them from the “all mail app”

Without this function the app is useless to me :-(

Also, it looks like if I archive a message by mistake, I cannot undo this

(which is also a very convenient funcion on gmail)

Any suggestion about this?

Hi. Drill down in the Settings for your email Account until you reach Advanced. There, you can change the behavior from Archive to Deleted.
