Apple pencil not working

I got my Apple pencil today and did all what is required to pair and connect, so far so good. Unfortunately while using the pencil it suddenly stopped working, I could not do anything with it. So I disconnected the bluetooth  connected the pencil back in again by plugging it in the charging port It worked temporarily and stopped again. I kindly seek feedback  other users with similar problems or advise from Apple on how to overcome this problem.

Make sure the tip is completely screw on.

Contact Apple or take it back to an Apple Store if you can. It may be faulty and if so they will replace it.

I have been through every trouble shooting step I can think of. The battery to the pencil is charged. Bluetooth is on, the pencil is connected, airplane mode is off, I'm using an app that can use the pencil because I've used it just a few days ago. I've turned my ipad Pro off and then back on completely, turned bluetooth on and then back on re-synched the pencil back to the ipad pro and checkedin widgets to make sure the battery is full on the apple pencil. I replaced the tip, screwed it off, screwed it back on, replaced it again and again and again. At this point I'm starting to think I need a new pencil but that seems to be too simple of an answer especially since the pencil has done this before and then started working randomly. I think this item was rushed to production too soon or something and it's too buggy. I don't want to get another pencil if I don't have to so are there any other steps for trouble shooting that anyone else can think of? If so please let me know. Uunio at yahoo dot com

Just because your one Pencil is having this issue doesn't mean all of them do. Get yours replaced.

I have exactly the same issue, from what I can read on the web there are a lot of simular cases after iOS 10 updates

I discovered that a Bluetooth connected watch (Garmin Fenix 5x) was the problem. This was fine when sync'd to just the iPhone but when I connected the watch and ipad it seemed to jam the Bluetooth on the ipad and stop the penicil/ipad connection.

Solution was removing the watch to ipad connection.
