My new Apple watch has been updating music I ad...

My new series 3 Apple watch has been updating with music I added for over 3 hours. It's on the charger. How long is this supposed to take? Apple Care is worthless on the watch, I doubt they have ever used the watch from my questions.

Apple has not specified an expected timeframe for syncing music to Apple Watch, but it can certainly take some time. It may help to check that you have followed all of the instructions here, including downloading any cloud-based tracks to your iPhone for offline listening:

Otherwise, perhaps consider leaving your Apple Watch on the charger overnight, with your iPhone nearby and also connected to power, with both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled.

The batteries on your devices cannot be overcharged. Charging will stop automatically when the battery is fully charged and start again if and when required due to ongoing battery usage.

Be sure to follow Apple's safety and handling instructions (see the links below). Note that it is normal for your Apple Watch, power adapter and charging cable to become warm when connected to power.
