My iPad Air is 3 years 11 months old and cannot...

My iPad Air is less than 4 years old, is faulty, not a software problem, and I am told is unrepairable. What does anybody recommend I do?

If you have been told that it can’t be repaired, then your only option is to buy a new one.

Thanks for that, but I don’t think 4 years is good value for a £640 purchase. Perhaps you do, but I don’t feel inclined to buy another.

Who told you it cannot be repaired?  Did you take it to Apple?  If so, go back and ask them why you cannot get at least an out of warranty replacement, which is far less than the cost of a new one.
