The instructions state that I can share notes with my colleagues, but then says all devices must be signed into iCloud with the same Apple ID. Is Apple reccomending sharing Apple ID information with colleagues? This seems like an IT security weakness.
No, you should never share your Apple ID password.
The first part of those instructions talks about setting up YOUR devices. The second part, under Use Shared Notes > Add People To a Note, explains how to share it with others.
