Why is my MacBook’s charger flashing a di...

So last time I used my MacBook Pro the battery was around 30%. Yesterday I plunged it in so it could charge after 2-3 days without using it and I noticed that the charger had a dim green light (with a clicking sound). My MacBook wouldn’t turn on. I left it overnight to charge (around 12+ hours) because I though my battery must have died within the days I didn’t use it but nothing happened. My battery doesn’t have a lot of circles so I believe it’s generally healthy. I started looking up for an explanation and I found some “solutions”. Well, I tried SMC reset but it didn’t work for my MacBook and I also unplugged the battery connector and plugged it right back, which also didn’t work. The only thing I haven’t tried yet is using another adapter but I can’t find any person who can lend me one. My first question is why the adapter has the dim green light, is there’s any specific reason for example is it because there’s is a problem with the battery? And my second question is, if I switch adapters and the same thing happens, that means the battery has a problem?

Thanks in advance!
