iTunes 12.7.0.166 does not work

I have a real problem with the fact that nobody from support responds to posts here, but they are quick to remove posts they don't like.

Apple Music is broken, iTunes 12.7.0.166 is broken, can't add music to playlists.  Tons of problems all over about this release.

The Edit Playlist control has been removed in iTunes 12.7. It has been replaced by the return of the ability to open multiple playlist windows. If you're used to the newer way you might not find the new old fashioned way quite as easy, but it does the job. Personally I've always been happy to drag tracks to the playlist in the sidebar, then open the list to arrange it.

If you want to regain Edit Playlist, management of apps, iBooks, and tones, and other features removed with iTunes 12.7 then see Deploy apps in a business environment with iTunes - Apple Support and install version 12.6.3. I installed 12.6.3 on two macs. You don't uninstall  12.7 since Apple in their unknown wisdom made that impossible for the time being. You download 12.6.3 and install it over 12.7. I messed up my iTunes folder and had to build it from scratch after doing so on one machine so I could use Apple TV but it got rid of a bunch of junk in the process which has built up for years.
