All iTunes gift cards are country-specific, they can only be redeemed and used in their country of issue - so to use a US gift card you have to be in the US with a US billing address. Do you know anybody in the US that you could sell or give the card to ?

That's irrelevant, it's the country where you now are that's important.

I already sold a card that I had before from us to a friend in us. So that is why I purchased a card here in my current place but it’s the same. So I’m confused now.

The store is selling cards that they shouldn't be, US gift cards are only for use in the US

I’m in bahrain now and got this in the mall here.
