I have a message on my mac pro main screen saying movie 1292.m4v cannot be found ,how do I remove this message it has a cancel or search but neither work and I can't even drag the message.

I understand you have a message on your screen that a file that you were searching for cannot be found.  If the "cancel" or "search" buttons aren't responding in the window, you can quit the application you were using when you did the search.  If the application won't quit, you can Force Quit it by holding the Command-Option-Esc keys on your keyboard.   If this doesn't work, then restart your computer.  But before you do, check your computer settings to make sure previous windows do not open so that you will have a fresh start.
