Lexar c20i 64gb drive & iPad Pro 10.5

I currently have the Lexar 64 gb c20i jump drive, an iPad Pro 10.5, the 9.7 Pro, iPad mini 4, iPhones 6s, Iphone X, and the iPhone SE, all running on same up to date iOS 11. The drive works fine on my windows Pc running windows 7, and it has always been ejected properly. It works fine on every device I listed except the new 10.5 Pro. It acknowledges it’s plugged into lightning port because I have the choice to allow it to communicate with iPad or ignore, I hit allow. It doesn’t authenticate it like it does on other devices, and it works like it should on every device but the iPad 10.5. When I hit the external storage button it tells me its not connected and to reconnect or restart device. I’ve done that, including deleting the mobile manager app and reinstall it. Can anyone help or does anyone have same issues?
