My Ipad is not connecting to a projector after ...

I am unable to connect to a projector  using a VGA adaptor that is from Apple for my Ipad 4.  I did not have this problem before updating to IOS 7.  I use my Ipad for presentations when I teach classes so it is very important that I get this fixed.

I haven't had good luck with VGA adapters and my iPad... Instead I use a program called Reflector to wirelessly display my iPad onto my computer. I then connect my computer to a projector so that my iPad screen can be displayed via projector to a screen on the wall in the classroom. Its nice to have my iPad wirelessly display to the projector using Reflector. Much cheaper than buying an Apple TV to do this same thing.

And yes, it is working with iOS 7

Hi, i have the same problem and it is vital for me to fix it. have you found any solution.

I hope I have narrowed it down to the VGA adaptor.  My Ipad when connected to the projector would have a blue bar across the top of the screen, this also happens when I am connected to AppleTV, but it has stopped doing that with the adaptor.  I think it just so happen that it stopped working the same time I updated to the new IOS.  I have had a few friends that these have messed up on, so that might be it and I will be returning mine and getting a new one in hopes that it will fix the problem.  I will let you know if I find anything else out.

So I posted earlier with the same issue of not being able to project with my VGA adaptor after installing IOS 7.  So I did something so simple and it works now--I shut down my ipad2 and turned it on again and now (drum roll please) IT WORKS!  Try it out and I hope it works for you all too...it was NOT the VGA adaptor at all.

I had the same problem and it turn down to be my VGA cable. I checked with another VGA cable and it worked, and try to use the original VGA cable in other iPad and it did not work. Guess I have to change it for good

We have a group of teachers whose vga adaptors will not connect to the projector.  We have  done a hard reset. We have switched out adaptors, please help!

Restart the phone.  I tried this and it worked immediately.
