Apple Pay reset itself LOST Money

Hello everyone in the forum.

Greetings from Tokyo.

Yesterday, I've had this issue of Apple Pay resetting itself, after I removed the password for 10 minutes and tried to set the password back. Ever since then, I am not able to find my Apple Pay cards in the wallet.

I've lost me SUICA card (an electronic pass used to pay at stores and purchase railway tickets) which had 10000 ¥ (approx $100). What do I do now ?

Having a passcode is mandatory for using Apple Pay, so removing it likely removed the cards: Apple Pay security and privacy overview - Apple Support.

Are you encountering an error if you try to re-add the cards per: Set up Apple Pay - Apple Support?

Thanks a lot for your prompt reply buddy.

The problem lies in re adding the cards. Once you add a SUICA card to Apple Pay the original card is no longer valid. So I cannot use the same card again to add it back.

Ah, I see. Well, I certainly don't think that they would let it just "eat" your money! I would ask JR East if they can assist: https://www.jreast.co.jp/e/customer_support/infoline.html.
