breathe app is not giving me reminders

Apple watch series 2 with watchOS 4.

iPhone 8.

Since pairing apple watch to new iPhone, the breathe app is not reminding me, even though the application on the phone has it set yo do so.

The following steps may help in respect of issues that you may be experiencing with other Activity reminders, having resolved issues with them for others:

 

  • On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > Passcode > check that Wrist Detection is turned on.
  • On your iPhone, in the Watch app, to go: My Watch (tab) > Health.
    • If the setting for Wheelchair currently states "Not Set", then tap on Edit (upper-right) > tap on "Not Set" and change it to "Yes" or "No" as appropriate (options are shown in the bottom area of the screen) > tap on Done (upper-right).
  • Restart your Apple Watch (normally):
  • Monitor performance after making any changes:
    • Keep in mind that a Stand or Roll (for wheelchair users) reminder will not be issued until 10 minutes to the hour and only then if you have not yet recorded credit within that hour and also not yet met that day's goal.
