How to delete icloud account?i just bought this...

I just bought this ipad3 as secondhand and the owner did not give me the password on his icloud..how can i delete this account since  i dont have the password.i cant delete the account because i need to turn off the find my iphone but it requires the password..

The activation lock in iOS 7 cannot be bypassed (it would be pointless if it could be).  You will need to contact that previous owner and get them to do it or convince them to give you their AppleID and passcode for their iCloud account so you can disable find my iPhone and restore the device as new.

It really was on the previous owners shoulders to disable that before they offered it up for sale (and why anyone would sell a device without wiping it of all their information is beyond me in the first place).  Regardless, only that previous owner can disable Activation Lock for you.

Is there any way aside from that?because i dont have contact with him..i just thinking now to restore to factory setting..is that posible?

You are going to have to erase the phone completely. He should not have sold you the phone without erasing it first. You are going to have to use recovery mode.

If you have never synced your device with iTunes, or you do not have access to a computer

If you see one of following alerts, you need to erase the device:

"iTunes could not connect to the [device] because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on the [device] before it can be used with iTunes."
"You haven't chosen to have [device] trust this computer"

If you have Find My iPhone enabled, you can use Remote Wipe to erase the contents of your device. If you have been using iCloud to back up, you may be able to restore the most recent backup to reset the passcode after the device has been erased.

Alternatively, place the device in recovery mode and restore it to erase the device:

  1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
  2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to shut down.
  3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
  4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
  5. iTunes will alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then restore the device.

If the device is running iOS 7, has find my iPhone enabled on it, then there is no way around Activation Lock without the password for the iCloud account already set up on the iPhone.

Even if you erase it in iTunes, you will not be able to activate it without that password.  Activation Lock remains associated with the device even if erased, and you CANNOT activate it again without the Activation Lock password.

The whole point of Activation Lock is that it DISABLEs attempts to restore and activate a device without the explicit permission of the owner.  It is designed to render your device into a brick, unless you have that password, or Activation Lock was DEactivated by the seller BEFORE they sold it.

No.

The previous owner should have done this.

What to do before selling or giving away your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If the seller won't erase, you may have bought a stolen iPad. Get a refund.

And just so you know, even if you take your ipad into an apple store and prove to them that you are the owner of the icloud account (I could get into my hotmail folder, but can't remember what i used as an icloud password and have since switched it to Gmail) they will call you a theif.  While you are sitting there with your iPad, iPhone and MacBook Pro on the table, each device registered to your iTunes account.  They lost me forever on this one.

There are many ways to find or change the password for your icloud account and if you cannot prove that you are who you say you are by utilizing one of them, then that is no fault of the Apple employees.

The easiest method is to contact itunes support-Account security by telephone and they can assist you with resetting your password, as long as you can prove who you are.

I bought a iPod from someone I know but he can’t remember what email he used as he made too many accounts. If he made another new one can her retrieve any information and reset his iCloud account?

If you have activation lock to another Apple ID and you do not know the information to that Apple ID, then your device is about as good as a paperweight at this point.  There is no way to bypass this, if there was then there would be nothing to deter thieves from stealing your iPad and wiping it and using it as your own.  Even if you do wipe it, it's not going to let you start it up as a new iPad without that information.  It has to be signed into that account and then signed back out in order to turn off find my iPad.  You are going to need to get in contact with the original owner of the device and if you can't then you are out.
