i got charged for an app i dont have and it won’t let me unsubscribe, I need a refund because it charged me 20 dollars! Help?

If the only indication of the charges is from an email or text, be aware that it may be a phishing attempt to get you to log in to a site that appears to be Apple and divulge your password or credit card information. You can use the following to determine if it is a real charge, what it is for, and to report a problem: Get help with an item purchased from the iTunes Store, App Store, Mac App Store, or iBooks Store - Apple Support

How do you know that you got charged for an app? Did you see this charge in your bank account? Did you receive an email, or a message? If you did not see a charge in your bank account and it is the later, then it is probably a phishing attempt to get your information. Apple emailed me and said me saying I payed for a subscription to a photo vault thing that I downloaded and deleted for one of those “download this and receive coins” games and they said I subscribed to a one year subscription of god knows what. And I’ve tried canceling the subscription in Apple ID settings but it won’t let me

Are you certain that the email was from Apple? The phishing attempts look very real. See the responses above for information on how to see if there was actually a charge to your account and how to report a problem.
