iMac late

Hi all,

I'm new here and I haven't found anything to address my own issue, but I'm hoping someone can help. I have an iMac 27" retina display late-2014. Earlier this year it overheated and blew a power capacitor. I had that replaced at a certified repair location for Mac, and Apple said that the logic board should be replace at the same time, but the repair shop thought it wasn't necessary so initially saved me some money. But when I got it back it would shut down randomly while in use after 3 rapid beeps. I couldn't restart without a SMC reset, but after a reset it would start again. (It also wouldn't come out of sleep mode). When it restarted I got 2 beeps. I searched and this seemed to point to a RAM issue. So I took it back to the repair shop and they reset the RAM. No dice. They then replaced the logic board. Now it has a momentarily scrambled screen each time it starts when you see the black screen with a white apple logo and the white progress bar loading. And now instead of 3 beeps I get 4 rapid beeps, but still the 2 beeps on restart.

I tried replacing RAM and it didn't change.

Any further ideas on how to proceed or troubleshoot?

I try to read the error logs and it looks like Greek, but I don't know if it would have insight into how to proceed.

I bought the computer 2 years ago and have only used it lightly. I hate to give up on it now. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
