Macbook Air OS Sierra Reboot

Just rebotted my Macbook Air OS Sierra and a very basic gray screen appeared asking for my apple id and password.  i entered it and got the message 'server error'.  I tried agin and got the same message. I went to the previous screen and the system continued to boot as normal.  Now I feel like someone tried to steal my apple id and password.  Should i be concerned? What should I do?
