10.3.3 iPad 4 Security & Safe Internet Use

I am unable to update to iOS 11.00 since Apple has recently stopped supporting iPad 4 and iPhone 5, how will this impact on the security of these devices?

The updates included security.  I have always kept the devices updated.  My question is around using the internet on these devices to make purchases.  Will the devices be less secure now that they are stuck on iOS 10.3.3?

I also have  a MacBook early 2009 running El Capitan 10.11.6, Is this device safe to use internet banking and make purchases?
