Serial number on my iPad mini, casing and softw...

I recently bought an iPad mini 2, and I’ve come to realise the serial number in settings is not the same as the serial number on the rear housing. I’m a little worried I’ve bought, maybe, a stolen or a written off item ? Surely it’s not normal

If the serial numbers do not match, that would indeed indicate a problem.
