I like everyone took advantage of the free time on Apple Music. I was able to listen to concerts I had actually been to  in the 60's, 70's and so on. I downloaded a lot of the music available and I was going to keep the service but my allotment of services was getting crazy. I cancelled Apple Music.

I went back to listen some of the music I had gotten and was told that you are not a member anymore so pound sand.

So my question is, Do I have to stay a member of Apple Music to listen to all that music I downloaded?

Yes. You no longer have access to Apple Music once the subscription expires.
