Ipod says "Connect to Itunes"

When I found my ipod again i forgot the password and so i tried a lot. I tried till the ipod said that i need to connect my ipod to itunes. My ipod wasn't sync with my itunes so i need to accept it from inside my ipod but I don't know the password. There are really important audio files and pictures on it from when I was young. So I really really want my ipod back. It is a ipod 5th gen. Is there a way to bypass the code or something because those pictures/audio files are really important to me. Please
