In Safari preferences, when I delete website data, about a dozen plus web addresses (the same addresses) keep popping back. I have shut down all open safari windows, I've rebooted the computer, I disconnected from the internet and reconnected, I've run a Malware search that says I don't have malware and, I've run CCLEANS. All to no avail.  What do I do to get rid of these cookies?  Thanks for any suggestions.

OK. I got it!  First click on your desktop, then hold down the 'option' key and click 'go' on menu bar.  Go to 'libraries' then 'Safari', then remove everything in the 'databases' folder.  I just tried that and got rid of everything in the website data area.  After a few minutes Google and gstatic showed up but nothing else.  M

Have you selected Always block cookies and website data in Safari Preferences > Privacy?

I have checked Allow from current website only. I remove website data when I'm finished. This hasn't changed but the website data sticking has changed.

I think this is the only solution, I read it in deferent site and it worked with me:

From the Finder's “Go” drop-down menu, select “Go to Folder”

Type in (or copy and paste): ~/Library/Safari/Databases

Click the "Go" button.

Then select and move the folders that were labeled as specific website databases (the ones that you want to delete that previously automatically repopulated) to the Trash.
