Family Sharing Contacts

I recently setup Family Sharing between myself and my husband.  I would like to share all of my contacts with him and allow him to update contacts if necessary, rather than having 2 sets of contacts. Is there a way to do this? All of the posts I have read are from older IOs versions.

Contacts aren't one of the things that are shareable. See the following for information on what can be shared:
