How to switch on iCloud music library for Ipod ...

I'm trying to add music to my Ipod Nano (6th gen) but this warning comes up:

'Some of the items in the Itunes Library were not copied to the Ipod because Apple Music songs cannot be copied to an ipod'
'To play Apple music songs on your ipod, turn on iCloud Music Library on your ipod'

This i cannot seem to do because there isn't a button under settings>music which switches on the iCloud music library? I've looked at a lot of forums but i haven't seen any advice for the Ipod nano 6th Gen.

The iCloud music library is switch on in my Itunes, just not on the device itself.

Software version 1.2 (most up to date) is installed.

I'm very stuck! How can i fix this problem so i can sync my music?

You cannot sync Apple Music songs to an iPod nano because it has no internet connection: you can only sync songs you have actually purchased. Only an iPod Touch can access Apple Music songs, and there they have to be downloaded again, not synced.

So is there simply no way to move that music to the iPod nano? I have  120gb iPod nano and I want to sync new music to it is this not possible?

No.

You can sync your own music tracks from CDs and such, or iTunes purchased music.

You cannot sync Apple Music tracks.

How do you connect to the Internet on the 7th generation????
