Where is the partial erase feature in Note Appl...

The new version of Note Application on IPad Pro is released. There are new features which are great, very useful. They are very practical for note taking Job. However, the previous version feature of note are also good such as erase function suitable for drawing perspeective. The previous one allow the user to erase drawing partially like using rubber on certain part of the entire line. But the new one when you use the eraser, it does erase the whole object of the same stroke. Also, pen colors in the new one are narrower selections comparing to previous one. It seems to me that drawing feature in the apps is taken away, this brings me curiosity the you may have seperated those function to a new drawing app somewhere. Please advise.

I think the only way to get the erasure without the x is to “add sketch”.
